i’m martina nermin de pretto, a writer, model, and collector of tabs I swear I’ll close later (I won’t). I’m interested in the ways we create meaning without really noticing we’re doing it: the clothes we wear, the places we keep going back to & so on. I’m fascinated by nostalgia, culture, and whatever obscure topic I’ve convinced myself is essential research at 2am. most of the time, I’m writing about cities, meals, trends, or random conversations I’ve overheard and shouldn’t have. usually, it’s not about the thing itself but what it says about the people around it. I like finding meaning in things that probably don’t deserve that level of attention, which I still haven’t decided is either a skill or just a very specific brand of overthinking.
